About Anthony Moreton Group

Leo has worked within the banking and finance industry for the past 28 years.

After ten years with the National Australia Bank, Leo moved to specialising in property finance after joining a private finance group and from there progressed into further roles with the global finance institutions ORIX and ING.  These roles provided Leo with significant experience in all facets of property finance including both construction and investment lending which saw Leo manage various lending portfolios as well as assisting in structuring and delivering tailored finance solutions through a diverse range of products and transactions including residential and industrial subdivisions, residential, retail, commercial and industrial developments and investments.

Since joining Anthony Moreton Group in October 2007, Leo has worked across all facets of the business and applied his finance and structuring experience to many transactions over this period. Most recently Leo has assisted with the direct transactions of the group in investment and development capacities.

Leo’s role as Director Structured Property Finance is to provide management and analysis of finance transactions whilst also developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, financiers and consultants.

Chris joined the Structured Property Finance division of Anthony Moreton Group as an Analyst in early 2019 after completing his bachelor’s degree in Business, majoring in Finance, at the Queensland University of Technology. Chris has previously worked for a range of Finance companies while studying, including a Brisbane based mortgage brokerage company where he established relevant skills and gained an insight into the real estate and property development industry.

Chris’ current role as Analyst is to assist in the financial and market analysis together with structuring of real estate and investment opportunities. Since joining he has gained exposure to a number of property development and investment transactions, building upon his analytical and technical skills.

Greg has over 20 year’s experience in the property development and construction industry’s. In that time he has held various rolls from acquisition through to daily management of large retail refurbishments and residential high-rise development. Greg achieves outstanding results through a positive collaborative approach to all aspects of project control and delivery. Greg builds confidence and rapport quickly with clients and consultants through clear and consistent communication.

Prior to joining Anthony Moreton Group in 2011, Greg worked for a private property development company for 7 years which specialised in residential property developments.

As Director of Property, Greg is primarily responsible for providing oversight to ensure property development projects are being actively managed to ensure a high level of risk mitigation for our clients and ensuring outstanding results.

Alex is a chartered accountant with diverse experience in financial management, accounting, corporate social responsibility (CSR), financial systems, procurement and investment structuring.

Prior to joining Anthony Moreton Group in 2014, Alex spent eight years working in industry in London.  During this time Alex was the Finance Manager at Partnerships UK, a private company that specialised in large scale PPP structured project finance.  Following this he was Group Financial Controller at Generator Hostels, a leading global hospitality investment platform owned by Patron Capital.  Alex also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Ecology.

Alex is responsible for Anthony Moreton Group’s financial management, investment management, taxation and regulatory compliance as well as corporate information technology and operational administration.

With more than 13 years’ experience in the corporate sector, Michelle commenced her role as an Assistant Accountant at Anthony Moreton Group in 2012.  Since then, Michelle has been promoted to the position of Office Manager / Accountant working alongside the Chief Financial Officer.  Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and is furthering her studies as a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Michelle’s role as the Office Manager / Accountant is to oversee all operational aspects of the office as well as assist the Chief Financial Officer with daily accounting, cashflow management and preparing of the annual financial statements for all controlled corporate entities.
